Meet the Lenovo Z2 Plus

Lenovo launched its new addition to its mobile roster: the Lenovo Z2 Plus, which is the rebranded ZUK Z2 unit initially released in China in May.

Not to be confused with the Lenovo Vibe Z2, Lenovo Z2 Plus is a lightweight phone chock-full of incredible features. It’s another one of the new breed of smartphones becoming more and more popular these days: premium minus the premium price tag. Sounds familiar? The rest of the gang are names like the OnePlus 3 and Nexus 5X.

This Lenovo ZUK Z2 reboot sports a 5-inch 1080p display, and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor supported by either 3 or 4 GB of RAM (depending on the model)operating on a near-stock version of Android Marshmallow. It also comes with built-in 34 or 64 GB storage.

It has both main and secondary cameras, with 13MP and 8MP resolutions respectively. The main camera has hybrid auto focus (PDAF & CAF), 4K video recording, slow-motion capture (120fps), time-lapse, live filters, and auto HDR.

Some of the most prominent special features of the Lenovo Z2 Plus are fingerprint sensor located beneath the home button (Yes, just like your high-end handsets!); hybrid dual SIM slot; and a USB type C connector, that makes data transfer faster. Lastly, it has a 3500mAh battery that can last up to 24 hours with average use, and comes in white or jet black.

All of these could be in your hands for only AED 989 ($269) for the 3GB/32GB model and AED 1099 ($299) for the 4GB/64GB model.
