Is the Microsoft Surface Phone finally coming to the UAE?

As the Microsoft event looms close, more and more rumors have been circulating about the supposed launch of the Surface Phone. While the November 2 Microsoft event is supposedly for unveiling a new Surface tablet among others, enthusiasts could not set aside the probability of launching the Surface Phone alongside it.

Since Microsoft acquired Nokia, it has released several Lumia Windows 10 smartphones, and with the upcoming Surface Phone, there are hints about putting an end to the Lumia line. However, some reports say that the Surface Phone would be a new addition to the Microsoft ranks, and would sit together with the Lumia phones rather than replace them.

We heard through the grapevine that the Surface Phone is expected to look like a smaller version of the Surface tablet having a squared metallic outer design. Other reports add that the Surface Phone could have a 5.7 AMOLED display with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, 8GB RAM, and a massive 512GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for expandable memory.

Some rumors also  have it that the Surface Phone will have a 21MP primary camera and its secondary camera will be at 8MP. There is also a chance that the smartphone will come with a mini version of the Surface Pen, and will feature the USB-C port which is becoming the standard for the latest smartphones. The best part is it will allegedly be supported by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor which up to date has not been released to the public.
