The Samsung S9 will feature something better than the S8

We were all wowed by the release of Samsung Galaxy S8. It’s simply an innovative new mobile device that we can’t just pass over. The Samsung S8 just blew the competition out of the water in a lot of ways. Now we wonder if it could get any better than this.

Apparently, it can.

Samsung Galaxy S9 already in the works

The S9 has already been in development even before the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8. Based on rumors doing the rounds in techie circles, it will feature Qualcomm’s next generation processor, the Snapdragon 845.

Ok, but what’s the fuss about the Snapdragon 845?

Not much is known about Qualcomm’s new processor but sources say the Snapdragon 845 will feature an octa core architecture, and may also be created in the same 10nm size of its predecessor, the Snapdragon 835.

If the Snapdragon 835 was amazingly fast, imagine what the Snapdragon 845 can do. Since the entire mobile technology scene is moving towards virtual and augmented reality, one of the things we think the Snapdragon 845 could probably do is make your VR experience even better, and like the Snapdragon 835, better battery performance and faster wireless connection.

Other rumors about the S9

See the S8’s curved edge? See how the left and right edges seem to melt into nothing when you’re holding it?

Rumors say the S9 will have not just the left and right curved edges, but also the top and bottom. No word yet how this will affect the headphone jack and speakers, though.

There’s still a long way to go before the release of the Samsung S9. We’ll keep you updated as new developments surface.
